Oh My Gawd--- This concert was one of the most horrible experiences for me.. First, I was not allowed to bring a "professional Camera" inside the place. Which means I had to buy one that would allow me to shoot inside.
After shooting with this point and shoot I began to get really crazy- I couldn't figure out how to use it !
Either way, I did manage to get a few decent one's and my kid's are thrilled. The show was great with the exception of me having to play bodyguard so my very young girls wouldnt get trampled on- These teenagers today are unruly - obnixious and very nasty.
Other than that I can see why these kid's are going crazy for the Jonas Brother's. They are cute, sweet as hell and very kind. Enjoy the photos !

A sunrise

For the last few years I have been so obsessed with Catching the moments of the sunset... Dont get me wrong its incredible but a sunrise is the start of a new day.. a new chance... a new start... the silence - solitude and peace of a sunrise is what I crave.

Taking care of my Brain.

My fingers are becoming part of my camera my brain is always back on to "Seeing" and I'm loving every moment of this solutide I have found.. I just wanted to share.

Sometimes Its the way the light catches one
place at one time. Or it could be because I had a need to fire the shutter. Or
The way one of my daughters looks at me... that may send me into hours worth of
shooting... Life truly is about the moments ...

The Green Flash

I have waited and chased this Green Flash for years.
I recently got the chance to be alone for a few days. Something that is as rare as the Green Flash.. Sitting there away from the noise the people and truly enjoying my peace. The sun went down in a blaze of glory and as my finger clicked the shutter I saw "The Green Flash" ... It happened so quickly I was not even sure it really happened... But it did ... and I was there to Capture the moment !

Time

For a long time it seemed to me that life was about to begin--- real life.

But there was always some obstacle in the way. Something to be gotten through first, some unfinished business, time still to be served, a debt to be paid. at last it dawned on me that these obstacles were my life....

This perspective has helped me to see there is no way to happiness. Happiness is the way. So treasure every moment you have and remember

Time waits for no one.

In the Event that Im out with you at Sunset time...

It doesn't matter to me if the sun is going to go down tommorow night... Or the night after.. All that matters is that I'm there to capture it.

It's the feeling that it evokes in me. Its capturing the moment. It's the beauty- of an ending of a day and the promise of a new one to come.

Its the way the sand feels under my feet.

The way the water sounds when it hits the shore..

Its what I am feeling and who I am with even if I am alone.

So in the event that I am with you or my kids or anyone else for that matter and the sun is going down, if I am not there to capture the colors blue, purple, pink or orange...It kills me.

Because its simply who I am.. Its inside of me.. It makes me tick. Its a need ...

Kinda like that Cha-Ching.. of the slots.. Sometimes we just cant help ourselves !
