Little Girl's Dreams ....

Last night I took my ten year old daughter to see Bon Jovi open the Prudential Center in Newark NJ. Needless to say it was FANTASTIC!

The only down fall of the night was the security guard who didn't appreciate me shooting ..

What I'd love to say to him right now is .. " HAVE A NICE DAY"

Fall/ Spring/ Global warming

I think Im confused

Last night I get a last minute babysitter with not enough time to go to my usual haunt... I decided to find the fall instead of the sunset

So, I find the PERFECT spot only to realize Im 30 min to late.

So, I go to the beach....

There are families throwing rocks near the dock where the boat are

children running around the beach in shorts... and I began to think how odd this is...

IM NOT COMPLAINING

But I do remember the days when Halloween had the chance of snow, Or thanksgiving was sleighriding down the hill ... instead of a Tan?

Again Not that I'm complaining ... Just wondering about Global Warming.

Booked Solid !

Tonight While taking picture's I decided to

Find the new ,in the old

Find the beauty ,in the ugly

I waited and waited for the sun to go down

and got what I wanted...

All in all it was a pretty awesome day with the one exception

I still can't shake.

I felt tonight like there were eyes on me..

I haven't felt afraid in that location in a really long time

however tonight I was spooked .

" Go home Bennies" Does that Include Hillary Duff?

Today I took my girls to the beach. The beach always does a world of good for the soul. After a devastating day, and saying goodbye to a family pet. I thought this would be a quiet uneventful day. Turns out, it wasn't what I expected ... Many years ago I heard a term " Go home Bennies" ..Never in my wildest imagination did I think I would turn into that. But I did. I wanted to grieve - I wanted to be alone on a quiet beach. Instead I walked in on a Movie being filmed...
My kid's were THRILLED ...They got to watch one of thier favorite Actress's , Hillary Duff, film a movie.They also may be background in her film, and It helped them forget thier pain for a few hours.

For me I got to try out a lens I didn't think would go the distance I was proven wrong. As for my issues.. I now have to deal with the fact that I have become a Jersey Girl. Not good for the New Yawker in me : )

As for my pain there is nothing harder than watching your children say goodbye to someone they loved to kiss her and have her kiss them back. And to walk away from that , into a very quiet house...Im still dealing I guess Hillary Duff couldnt fix me ... But I sure would thank her for helping them for a few hours.
